  1. TEENY TEENS

  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Square-center round toothpicks
  5. Ruler
  6. Scissors
  7. Pencil
  8. Crafts glue
  9. Assorted colors of embroidery floss for hair, skin, and clothing
  10.  
  11. STEP 1
  12. First, cut off 5/8 inch from both ends of one toothpick for the body.  Then cut off 5/8 inch from one end of two toothpicks for the legs.  Next, cut off 1 1/2 inches from one end of two toothpicks for the arms.

  14. STEP 2
  15. On the body, use the pencil to mark 5/8 inch in from one end.  Then glue the legs to the sides of the body with the uncut tips at the mark.

  17. STEP 3
  18. Begin wrapping the floss for the dress at the mark.  Dab glue on the ends of the floss to secure them to the back of the doll.

  20. Then wrap the floss down the legs to the desired length.

  22. STEP 4
  23. Using another color of floss, wrap each arm.  Glue the arms to the body at the mark.

  25. STEP 5
  26. Wrap the floss slightly above and below the mark to shape the neck and shoulders.

  29. To shape the head, wrap the skin-color floss around the body above the mark.  Add a favorite hairstyle, creating ponytails, braids, or lots of curls.  Terrific! You've made teeny teens!
